In recent days, an ex-BNP-er managed to leak something of a membership list for that foul party. It seems that it's a few years out of date and includes a few people more accurately described as prospects than fully paid up members, but nonetheless, it's out. The list also included some addresses, phone numbers, and job descriptions it seems. It was not a good thing to release, especially not if you're a loathed neo-facist right wing party.

I mean normally, who would care? Yes, it's a bit annoying that your address is available to all and sundry, but the fact you (mostly) chose to affiliate with a party you believe in, well surely you should be campaigning loud and proud for them, not praying that no-one finds out you're in it. Anyone would think that even its own members realises its sheer wrongness.

It is a breach of privacy, but it's hard not to laugh when it's the enemy...especially when such flagrant hypocrisy as the below rears its ugly head.

From the BNP website, 3rd November:

From some of the slightly more level-headed mass media reporting sources, whatever its faults, regarding the BNP a couple of weeks later...

Nice protest, fools.

PS: The Poorhouse is naturally aghast at this leakage, even if many of the people on the list probably would not be in the running for Poorhouse friends of the year...but if you were really desperate to see the list it is floating around on the torrent networks amongst other places. One guy appears to have set up a "find your nearest member" website with convenient links to Google maps, which the Poorhouse isn't sure he advocates enough to link to. Oh, alright then, here it is, there was a bnp.org.uk link earlier after all.

Don't be mean though. Knowing the normal garbage they output for all we know the lists are full of rubbish anyway, and even if not, people need to be educated beyond, not maimed for, their beliefs, however idiotic.
